What drag clicking is
Drag your fingertip across the mouse button with light pressure. On some mice the friction makes the switch bounce, and each bounce is a click. The result is a burst of 20, 30, sometimes 50 clicks in a second from one finger movement. It is the fastest way to click anything, and it works only on a minority of mice: ones with a textured or grippy shell and a switch that's willing to bounce.
What this page measures
Clicks are counted the same way as on the CPS test. On top of that the result shows the share of gaps under 30 ms. No finger presses a button twice in 30 ms on purpose, so gaps that short are the mechanical fingerprint of a drag. Over 30% of them and the run gets the drag verdict. Below that the burst was a fast normal click, however high the number.

Before you get attached to the number
- Most Minecraft servers with anti-cheat treat sustained clicks above 15 to 20 per second as automation and will kick or ban. Drag clicking routinely trips that.
- It wears the switch fast. What starts as a party trick becomes a mouse that double clicks on its own; the double click test will show that happening.
- Tape on the button, grip powder and rough shells all work by adding friction. They also collect dirt.
