What you get
The same CPS test as the front page, cut down to fit a sidebar or a post: length chips, a live counter, the pad, and the result with your peak second. It remembers the best score per length for each visitor, in their own browser. Mouse, touch and spacebar all work, and on a phone it says "tap" instead of "click".
It loads inside an iframe from cpsbench.com, so it can't break your page's styles and your page can't break it. The embedded page is about 6 KB, has no images and no external scripts. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics or ads. If one day that changes, this page will say so first.
Where people use it
- Gaming blogs and Minecraft server sites, next to a post about PvP or click speed.
- Teachers who want a quick warm-up or a reaction game on a class page. It works on school Chromebooks because nothing in it needs installing or unblocking.
- Keyboard and mouse review sites, as a "try it yourself" box under a switch comparison.
Details
- The height is fixed at 330 px; the width follows its container up to the maximum you pick. On narrow screens it shrinks to fit.
- The line under the frame is a normal link to this site. Please keep it; it is the only thing I ask for in return.
- If you run a site where an iframe isn't allowed, write to [email protected] and tell me what you need.
- The full version, with cadence, technique detection and leaderboards, stays on the main page; the widget links there.
