How the boards work
- One entry per device per board: your best run, not your run count. Post a better one and it replaces the old.
- Posting needs a name and nothing else. The name is attached to a random id the browser generates on first post; clear site data and you become a new player.
- The server rechecks every run from its hit timestamps: the count has to match, the timing has to fit the mode, and gaps that are machine-even are rejected on the spot.
- Runs above 20 CPS on a timed test, under 4 seconds on the 100-press race, or under 120 ms on reaction are held for a human look before they show. It takes me a day or two.
- Rankings are among players whose best run falls inside the period. "Today" rolls over continuously, not at midnight.
Challenges
After posting, the test page offers a challenge link. Anyone opening it runs against the ghost of your run: the line under the counters shows how many hits ahead or behind they are, live.
